What does version 2.0 or v2.0 mean?
We are currently on version 2.0 of our software engine. This latest release includes basic search
functionality and a new category structure for OGE comparisons. We
will use this new category structure to systematically classify 1000's of products from the greatest
manufacturers of outdoor gear, including
Arcteryx,
Montrail,
Oakley,
Reef,
The North Face
and much, much more.
This release also includes individual merchant profile pages featuring the current
promotions from our featured retailers.

How do you keep your prices up to date?
We have a robust, database-driven backend that automatically scans the product catalogs
from our merchant partners for the most recent pricing. On a daily basis the database
is regenerated and the most up-to-date pricing is displayed. While we do our best to make
sure you are presented with the most accurate pricing, we cannot guarantee its accuracy.
We also cannot guarantee the availability of a specific product. If you notice that a
product has inaccurate pricing, please email us at info @ oge-inc.com and let us know.

How does a store qualify to be represented?
We will only feature gear from stores that have the following characteristics:
exceptional site usability, great product selection, excellent customer service
through live chat or phone, top brands, efficient order processing, and timely
fulfillment (just to name a few).
If a merchant is featured here, it's worth buying from them. Period.

Outdoor Gear Engine currently houses over 300,000 individual product skus from over 45 premier retail partners.

How Does The Search Work?
Simply enter your search term(s) into the search box and 2 Sets of search results will be returned:
OGE Comparison Results and Extended Database Results. The OGE Comparisons Results are pulled from the
products listed in our category structure. The Extended Database Results are pulled from any matches
to your term in our entire library of product skus.
